VF Participates on Panel on Partnerships for Good at Davos

Representatives from the Virtue Foundation participated in a discussion on Partnerships for Good at Davos on January 22, 2015. Dr. Ebby Elahi, VF Director of Global Health and International Programming, presented the significant progress on the VF Data Mapping Initiative and had the opportunity to share the latest iteration of the mapping project to a panel of global development leaders, including Muhammad Yunus.

Virtue Foundation hopes that sharing of the progress on the Data Mapping for Sustainable Development Initiative will provide new insight to all international stakeholders regarding the importance of data, and especially data-driven programming. The Data Mapping Initiative being piloted by the Virtue Foundation can certainly be effectively used to this end.

Following the in-depth discussion of the Virtue Foundation Data Mapping Initiative, Dr. Elahi joined Muhammad Yunus on a panel discussion with several influential individuals in the international development field, including Andrea Jung and Melanne Verveer. This collection of distinguished individuals spoke extensively on the topic of investing in women and innovative partnerships as a means of global progress moving into the future.
