Virtue Foundation supports MSMI, Medical Students Making Impact, in 2015 Project

In late March of 2015, Virtue Foundation again supported Medical Students Making Impacts. Coming from the Global Health Student Organization of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai, MSMI mobilizes medical students to provide healthcare in underserved areas.

This year, the program continued in the border towns of Nogales, Arizona, and Nogales, Sonora, Mexico as part of the MSMI annual public health and geriatric medicine trip to the area. Though the on-site program is typically a week long, the students and physicians associated with this program continue to communicate year-round to ensure continued sustainable and productive experiences for all parties involved.
