From October 4th to October 6th, 2018, the First Central Hospital of Mongolia hosted a celebration of an important milestone: 90 Years of Ophthalmology Service in Mongolia. The event was celebrated and attended by ophthalmologists and medical professionals from all over the country to look back on the history and progress made over the last nine decades. Discussions then moved onto the future of ophthalmology in Mongolia and ways forward.

Several Virtue Foundation volunteers were in attendance for this notable celebration, including a team of cornea and oculoplastics specialists. The Virtue Foundation’s presence at this celebration marks a decade-long partnership with First Central Hospital that has only grown in size and scope over the last ten years and continues into 2019!
