VF donates 20,000 doses of antibiotics to Ghana

Antibiotics are a valuable tool against serious infections, including pneumonia. To deal with those infections, Virtue Foundation has donated 20,000 doses of IV amoxicillin/clavulanic acid (taromentin in Austria, augmentin in the U.S.) to the Wa Regional Hospital in the Upper West Region of Ghana. Virtue Foundation would like to thank Astro-Pharma for their support in providing these antibiotics for donation.

Since 2012, Virtue Foundation has been working in Ghana as part of the Institute for Innovation and Philanthropy to make advances in the Foundation’s areas of focus: health, education, justice, and empowerment.
