The Virtue Foundation’s Actionable Data Initiative continues to expand, drawing more interest from the data science community. In October, Dr. Joan LaRovere, Co-Founder and Vice President of the Virtue Foundation and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, presented at the 2023 Spatial Data Science Conference in New York City, the largest event for data science, GIS & analytics professionals. This year’s event brought together 800 data experts from around the globe to discuss the latest trends and innovative use cases across multiple industries. Dr. LaRovere shared the unique insights gained from Virtue Foundation’s Actionable Data Initiative, highlighted the current landscape of global health, and revealed the role big data can play in transforming the current paradigm of global healthcare delivery.
