Virtue Foundation presented at the 2024 Danaher Summit in San Francisco, highlighting how predictive models, machine learning, and advanced analytics can help connect medical expertise with communities of greatest need. Virtue Foundation was honored to participate in the summt, joining leaders and innovators exploring how artificial intelligence can move from promise to practice in science, medicine, and healthcare.
Dr. Joan LaRovere, presented “AI-driven precision in global health: from predictive models to practical impact,” moderated by Brad Gray of Danaher. The discussion highlighted Virtue Foundation’s work using AI, advanced data analytics, and geospatial intelligence to identify healthcare deserts and better match volunteer physicians and surgeons with underserved communities.
Through VFMatch and the Actionable Data Initiative, Virtue Foundation is building tools to transform fragmented global health data into actionable insights. These efforts support more targeted planning, more effective resource allocation, and a more sustainable approach to delivering specialized care in low- and middle-income countries.
