Together with Wolfram Alpha, Virtue Foundation has taken the next steps in bringing the Data Mapping for Sustainable Development Initiative to fruition. As part of this Initiative, Virtue Foundation and Wolfram Alpha have developed a multi-layered, relational map of Ghana.
On Friday, November 7th, 2014, the Virtue Foundation Ghana Team will again share their experiences from last year’s Women’s Health Mission to Ghana at LKH Wolfsberg Hospital in Austria.
Virtue Foundation has again supported the training of judges and lawyers in Kenya as part of the Trial Advocacy Training program in collaboration with Lawyers without Borders. This year’s group contained an entire judicial training team who worked with 50 Kenyan Judges, training on issues such as corruption, money laundering and terrorism.
The Virtue Foundation has returned from it’s sixth Surgical and Teaching Mission in Mongolia. This year, the mission team travelled to Mongolia in two groups, a smaller team in April, and a larger team in May.
In March of 2014, the Virtue Foundation helped to support and sponsor Medical Students Making Impacts (MSMI) for programming that seeks to improve and expand healthcare in underprivileged communities.
On March 13th, 2014, a Women’s Health and Endometriosis Event was held in at the Academy of Sciences in Vienna to honor Women’s Health and Endometriosis Day.
On February 14th, 2014, the Austrian members of the Virtue Foundation’s Medical Team convened at the Medical University of Vienna Clinic to present the work they carried out during the 2013 Virtue Foundation Medical Mission to Ghana.
