As part of the Institute for Innovation and Philanthropy in Ghana, this annual project seeks to address health needs by carrying out targeted medical interventions in underserved communities and skills transfer to local staff in areas of greatest need by organizing and executing medical missions.
Since 2009, Virtue Foundation has been traveling to the East Sissala District, Ghana to carry out medical and surgical interventions as part the Foundation’s Ghana Surgical and Medical Mission.
On October 30th, 2015, The Hospital of Wolfsberg, Austria is hosting a seminar, at which doctors Kazem Nouri, Martin Langer, and Maurus Demmel will be speaking regarding their involvement with the Virtue Foundation.
The Virtue Foundation and its volunteers are planning a return to Tumu, Ghana to continue supporting local staff and patients at Tumu District Hospital. This year’s Ghana Surgical and Medical mission is slated to take place in late November 2015, and will include volunteers from a variety of medical specialties.
Virtue Foundation again supported the Lawyers without Borders “Support Through Trial Advocacy Training (STTAT)” program in Nairobi, Kenya. This year, judges, prosecutors, lawyers, and wildlife officers were among the participants involved.

In May of 2015, the Virtue Foundation and a team of 31 surgeons, nurses, and medical volunteers traveled to Mongolia for the annual Surgical and Teaching Mission to Mongolia.
