Virtue Foundation returned to Mongolia for its 10th Annual Surgical and Teaching Mission to Mongolia, serving more than 10,0000 patients over the past 10 years.


As part of the Institute for Innovation and Philanthropy in Ghana, Virtue Foundation returned to Ghana for it’s annual Surgical and Medical Mission.


Latif is a six-year-old boy who was severely burned and scarred after walking into the flames of an open cooking fire when he was 8 months old. Virtue Foundation is transporting Latif to Austria for surgery and rehabilitation.


For nearly a decade, this trip has grown to be one of the Foundation’s longest standing and most impactful programs, helping to reach and provide healthcare to hundreds of underserved Mongolians.


In rural Ghana, people face several barriers when trying to access proper healthcare in a timely manner: transport is only but one of these barriers.


As part of the Institute for Innovation and Philanthropy in Ghana, this annual project seeks to address health needs by carrying out targeted medical interventions in underserved communities and skills transfer to local staff in areas of greatest need by organizing and executing medical missions.


Since 2009, Virtue Foundation has been traveling to the East Sissala District, Ghana to carry out medical and surgical interventions as part the Foundation’s Ghana Surgical and Medical Mission.


On October 30th, 2015, The Hospital of Wolfsberg, Austria is hosting a seminar, at which doctors Kazem Nouri, Martin Langer, and Maurus Demmel will be speaking regarding their involvement with the Virtue Foundation.
The Virtue Foundation and its volunteers are planning a return to Tumu, Ghana to continue supporting local staff and patients at Tumu District Hospital. This year’s Ghana Surgical and Medical mission is slated to take place in late November 2015, and will include volunteers from a variety of medical specialties.
